Learning a Foreign Language is a fantastic opportunity. Spanish has increasingly become a popular option amongst our students in KS4.
In all our lessons students are encouraged to develop the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing in a range of situations and contexts. Students are always encouraged to use Spanish as a means of communicating in the classroom. The following topics and contexts are covered in KS3:

Extra curricular opportunities:
We offer for our students in year 10 and 11 an exciting opportunity to attend a trip to Barcelona. This normally takes place in the Spring Term and lasts 4 days (3 nights).
The trip is a fantastic opportunity for our students to experience the culture of the language they are studying as well as providing them with real opportunities to use their linguistic skills for real purposes. This experience will also help them to be more prepared for their Listening and Speaking exams as well as being one of those great memories for life!
