July 2015

Dear Student and Parent/Carer,

I thought I would take the opportunity to write to you before we break up for the summer holidays with specific information regarding Year 12 & 13.

I hope you enjoyed the Taster Day and had opportunity to visit some of the lessons you have chosen and to gain an understanding of how the style of learning for you will be different. Thank you for all your comments on our code of dress expectations.

I know that many of you have had conversations with Mrs Lawrence/Mr Hammond around finalising your choices. If you still have any queries about this then please make contact with myself or Mr Hammond over the summer using the contact details below. All choices and final enrolment will be reviewed on results day.

It is very important that you complete your Summer Prep work for every subject you are taking. These are being uploaded to our Academy Website if you cannot find your booklet. This will be very useful for us to look at and will indicate your commitment to our Sixth Form and will also help to get you off to a flying start.

I will be buying in some Sixth Form stationary over the summer for each of you as a starter pack. This will include a spring bound folder, dividers, plastic wallets and a ream of punched lined paper. You must have your own writing equipment.
