Teacher of Technology
Greenwood Academy, based in Birmingham, opened on the 1 January 2013. The academy is part of a wider family of academies within the Academies Enterprise Trust group which promises opportunities for support, innovation, collaboration, partnership and excellence and ensures that we fulfil our duty to inspire young people ‘to make their best better’.
The Technology department consists of 6 full time and 1 part time teaching staff who each have access to their own teaching classroom.
This post provides excellent opportunities for a dedicated and imaginative Teacher of Technology, committed to maintaining the high standards of Teaching & Learning developed and cemented over recent years. You will be expected to take part in curriculum developments across Key Stage 4 to raise standards, improve achievement and enhance engagement in Technology. Applications from both experienced and newly qualified teachers would be welcomed.
