Dear Parent / Carer

Personal Safety Day on Friday 22nd November 2013

I am writing to inform you that your son / daughter has been invited to attend a personal safety day at Greenwood Academy between 10.00am and 14.00pm on Friday 22nd November 2013.

The day will be led by the Birmingham Fire Brigade and the Royal National Lifeboat Institute (RNLI).

Students will be given a range of safety messages during the day including road safety, fire safety and water safety. A fire engine will be present on site throughout the day to support delivery of the fire safety message.

In addition to the above we have arranged for a health bus to visit the academy during the day to provide our youngsters with a range of health messages including healthy eating and mental well-being.

The RNLI have requested that photographs from the event can be used in their promotional materials. Please complete and return the slip at the bottom of this letter if you do not wish for your child’s photo to be used by the RNLI.

We hope that the day is informative and useful.

Yours Sincerely,

Harry French
Principal
