B2A

The Believe 2 Achieve Centre is aimed at working with students with a range of social and emotional needs across all year groups.

We are here to help students with a range of issues that may find mainstream lessons a challenge.
We are here to offer support and confidence.

Mrs Charlie Cunnane oversees the B2A centre.

Mrs Vicky Smith is the designated TA who helps support the students with their day to day activities and lessons.

We support students in a range of areas:
  • Anxiety
  • Friendship issues
  • Social and Emotional needs
  • Anger Management Issues
  • Transition Difficulties
  • Behaviour Difficulties
  • Healthy lifestyles
  • Mentoring/ self esteem confidence workshops
  • Bullying issues/ conflict mediation
  • Sexual Health and lifestyles
  • Substance misuse
  • Crime Prevention
In B2A we work with students based on reduced timetables, part time hours and also linking in with other agencies and support networks. We have personalised target setting and key reflection time with staff. Each child completes a pre and post questionnaire when they join and leave B2A so we can measure impact.
Each scheme of work and project is tailored to every child's need, we have specialised learning approaches and practical activities such as :
  • Cookery
  • Hair and Beauty
  • Construction
  • Arts and Crafts
We aim to help all of our students to be confident about returning to mainstream education and helping them to enjoy their day at school and achieve to the best of their ability.
